Celebrating Resilience, Innovation and Bilateral Leadership: IABCA Global Finalists Announced
For many businesses, professionals, and not-for-profits across the globe, today marks an occasion for celebration as finalists for one of our major bilateral development initiatives, the India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABCA), were announced.
The India Australia Business & Community Awards exists to celebrate the India-Australia relationship whilst simultaneously contributing to its development. Annually, IABCA showcases the businesses, professionals and not-for-profit organisations that are strengthening this bilateral relationship across trade, tourism, culture, and people-to-people ties. The platform works on a rotational policy and in partnership with Australian state government departments, this year working in conjunction with Global NSW to support their trade and investment priorities in India.
In 2020, IABCA received an extraordinarily high level of engagement having received more than 300 entries across seventeen award categories recognising contributions to the bilateral relationship across tourism, export, technology, medical research, sport, academia, and many more. The quantity and calibre of entries received this year required a significant degree of assessment, and the IABCA Panel of Experts underwent an extensive eight week process in deliberating this pool of finalists.

Winners will be announced at the Annual IABCA Gala on Friday the 19th March at the International Convention Centre, Sydney.
